ב-Online Store 2.0, templates הם JSON files עם רשימת sections. ב-Vintage themes, templates הם Liquid files עם HTML ישיר. ניתן להוסיף templates נוספים (alternate templates) לאותו סוג עמוד — לדוגמה product.subscription.json — והסוחר בוחר ב-product page איזה להחיל.

בישראל זה רלוונטי לסוחרים עם מוצרים מסוגים שונים — לדוגמה template ייעודי למוצרי קוסמטיקה (עם before/after photos), template אחר למוצרי אופנה (עם size chart). שווה לבנות 2-3 templates max.
